Mobile assessment services
Squirrel SelfServe is a simple off-the-shelf solution for mobile assessment service where the assessor will fill in a pre-formed assessment survey whilst on-site via mobile phone or tablet and then submit to the back-office for processing. Using the fully-featured, rule-driven questionnaire development software, non-technical users are able to create on-line assessment surveys with a minimum of technical support. Many types of question can be created including multiple choice, array list, sliding bar as well as answers calculated from the answers to previous questions. Files (including photos) can be attached to the survey as question answers. Assessment criteria can be built into the survey and calculated as the survey is being produced to give immediate feedback if required. Surveys are then accessible via web browser on any device and are responsive to the type of device so they can easily be completed using a connected tablet device carried by the assessor. Back-office staff login via the portal to perform the back-office tasking.
The workflow component allows the submission of a survey to trigger a back-office business process which can be amended using a graphical editor again by non-technical staff with minimal technical support. The workflow can be manual, automatic or a mixture and can be configured to communicate between back-office staff via the portal or email, the workflow has access to all of the information captured in the survey plus additional information can be accessed if available to the system via database connectivity. Interfaces to external systems can also be created using bespoke PHP connectors if this is required. All decision points can be logged for audit purposes and any additional information can be captured using further forms or surveys as appropriate. Dashboards provide back office staff and managers with status information and report important statistics.
